
IDIC offers supportive services that promote wellness, independence, and community connection for older adults and their families. Through collaborative partnerships with local agencies and organizations, these services provide access to resources, social engagement, and culturally relevant support for those in need. Offered on specific days and by appointment, the programs aim to uplift lives and foster a sense of belonging in the community.
PROGRAMS
Program to Encourage Active Rewarding Lives for Seniors (PEARLS)
Case management and counseling program developed by mental health professionals to help address mild depressions in veterans, their spouses and adults 55 years old and above. It is provided in partnership with the City of Seattle Aging and Disability Services and the University of Washington Health Promotion Research Center.​

Nutrition (Senior Meal) Program
Subsidized Filipino lunches for seniors 55+. These nutritious meals provide a chance to socialize and learn about healthy eating. Suggested donation is $3.00. The program is a collaboration with Sound Generations and the City of Seattle.

Client's Choice Food Pantry Program
Food bank offers free culturally-specific groceries to Filipinos and Asians twice a week, open to all regardless of age, race, income, or immigration status. Supported by various organizations like the WA State Department of Agriculture, Food Lifeline, ACRS and Sound Generations, IDIC distributes over 80,000 pounds of food annually to low-income communities and families.
